PUFF WHEAT GAKE

1 cup brown sugar 1 teasp- cocoa
5 Cup syrup 2 teasp.- vanilla
% cup butter

Make syrup out of these.

10 cups puff wheat, put in to warm and stir,
then pour syrup over. Put in a well greased pan
and cool.

1-2-3-4 CAKE
1 cup butter 3 teasp. baking powder
2 cups sugar 1 cup milk
3 cups flour a little vanilla
4 eggs

Cream butter, adding sugar gradually. Beat in
eggs, one by one. Sift flour, and baking powder.
Add to first mixture alternately with the milk.
Bake in a greased cake pan for about 1 hour.

LAZY DAISY CAKE

2 eggs 1 tbls. butter

1 cup sugar l teasp. baking powder
1 cup flour % teasp. salt

% cup milk a little vanilla

Beat sugar and eggs together. Add sifted dry
ingredients and the milk heated with the butter.
Bake in moderate oven.

Topping:

Cook together for two minutes

5 tbls. brown sugar * cup fine coconut

3 tbls. butter 2 tbls. milk or cream

Put on top of cake and return to oven to brown.
