Beat entire mixture with rotary beater for 3 minutes. Pour over minced steak. Baking at 400 degrees F. for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 to finish baking. CORN AND CHEESE SOUFFLE - Mrs. W. Black. 4 tbls butter 4 tbls flour 1 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper 1 cup milk scalded 1 cup corn l1 cup grated cheese 3 eggs separated. Melt butter in saucepan, blend in flour and seasonings and add milk gradually. Stir constantly until it thickens and add corn and cheese. Pour over well beaten egg yolk and blend. Cool. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Turn into greased baking dish and bake in moderate oven 350 degrees until firm. CHEESEBURGER LOAF - Bea Lindenberg. 1/2 cup undiluted evaporated milk or light cream l egg 2 tbls chopped onion 1 cup soda biscuit crumbs 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 lbs ground beef 1 cup grated cheddar cheese 1 tsp dry mustard 1 tbls catchup Combine all ingredients except cheese thoroughly. spread 1/2 cup cheese in bottom of loaf pan cover with half of meat mixture. Repeat using remaining cheese then meat. Bake at 350 degrees for about one hour. To serve as loaf line pan first with heavy wax paper. Let stand 10 minutes before turning out ona platter — remove paper and slice.
