Assisting in serving were Mrs. A. Brown, Mrs. D. Linfoot and Miss Beryl Under- hill. A short business meeting was held prior to the tea, with Mrs. L. C. Gardner presiding. The resignation of Mrs, A. Mon- ey as secretary was accepted with regret and a vote of thanks was passed to her for her services in the past. Mrs. H. Burmeister was elected secretary pro-tem. A minute of silent prayer of thanks was observed and the meeting closed with the singing of the National Anthem. Mr. F. Fatkin was a judge of the horticultural-exhibits at the Mission fair last week. Miss W. H. Lawrence and Miss H. W. Hughes have resumed their positions as teachers of the |Bradner school. Mrs. L. Beaton of Seattle, who has been a guest of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Gardner for the past two weeks, left to spend a few days at Pender Harbor, prior to leaving for Las Cruces, New Mexico, where she will spend the winter months.
