MEAT LOAF 1 lb. minced beef 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion l tsp. salt Y2 cup. fine Rolled Oats Yg tsp. pepper 1 egg a bit of sage 1 cup milk or thin gravy Add beaten egg and liquid to meat and mix well. Add rolled sats and seasonings. Stir until smooth and well mixed. Pack in loaf tin, cover with greased paper. Bake in moderate oven (375) for 1 hour 15 minutes. Mrs.. Talbot QUICK SPAGHETTI MEAT LOAF 1 lb. ground beef ¥%4 cup tomato juice 1 large onion 1 6-oz. can tomato paste 2 tbsp. mazola oil 1 tsp. chili powder 2 tsp. salt lf tsp. cayenne Y2 cup chopped celery Yg tsp. curry 1 green pepper Brown onion in mazola, add beef. and salt. Chop celery and green pepper. Mix tomato juice, paste and spices and add to meat. Cook slowly. Doreen Olynyk BARBECUE SAUCE 1 can tomato soup 1 tbsp. brown sugar Y% cup sweet pickle relish 1 tbsp. vinegar Y4 cup chopped onion 1 tbsp. Worchestershire Combine in saucepan.
