Remove from fire, add butter and lemon juice and serve. LEMON SAUCE * BROWN SAUCE 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons flour 4 cup Rogers’ Golden Syrup V4 cup brown sugar 134 cups boiling water Melt butter, add flour and stir until 1 teaspoon vanilla smooth. Add sugar and Rogers’ Golden Syrup, stirring always and let brown. Remove from fire, add boiling water and stir until mixture is smooth. Boil 2-3 minutes. Add flavoring and serve hot. * 20
