CHOCOLATE ROLL 2 tsps. butter 1 cup icing sugar te pkg. semi-sweet chocolate 1 egg 1 cup walnuts 26 marshmallows (quartered) Melt chocolate and butter, add beaten egg, icing sugar. Remove from heat, cool slightly, add marshmallows and nuts, and mix. Spread waxed paper with coconut. Pour on chocolate mixture, and form into a roll. Cool and slice. —Mrs. Ruby Polych. RAISIN SLICES 2 cups flour — 1 egg 1 cup butter 1 cup sugar Crumble dry ingredients, add egg. Put half of mixture into 9-inch square pan. Filling: 1% cups raisins 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 cup water Juice of % lemon % cup sugar Cook filling in a saucepan until thick and pour over mixture. Spread the rest of mixture over top of raisins.
