CALIFORNIA PULL-OF 1 lb. ground meat (beef) 1/3 cup green pepper 1/3 cup onion 1/2 cup uncooked washed rice 1fe tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 cups hot water 3/4 cup tomato paste Crumble beef and fry in small amount of fat until brown. Place sausages and hot fat into a casserole. Conr bine eggs, milk, flour, salt and baking powder and beat hard for about 5 mins. Pour over sausages. GOLDEN MEAT LOAF 4 cups cornflakes 11/4 lbs. ground beef 1/4 lb. ground pork 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 cup milk 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup chopped onions 1 cup grated raw carrots 1/4 cup chopped parsley 78 Crush cornflakes slightly. Combine with remaining ingredients and mix well. MEAT BALL PUFFS 1 lb. lean beef, ground 1/4 tsp. black peppe 1/4 tsp. salt 3 1/4 cup onion, chopped 3/4 cup soda crackers (crushed) 1/3 cup milk Toss meat with fork to lighten. Add all ingredients to the meat and mix well. Shape into 12 balls and brown well in drippings. Remove balls from frying pan and place in baking casserole. Heat 1 10-oz. tin con densed mushroom soup diluted with 3/4 cup milk and pour over meat balls. Cover and bake in moderate oven for 45 minutes.
