8 Marr’s SALAD DRESSING REcIPE Book WALDORF SALAD 1 package lemon jelly powder 4 teaspoons vinegar (table vinegar) 1 cup each diced celery and apple 14 cup Marr’s Old Fashion Boiled Salad Dressing 2 cups hot water ¥% teaspoon salt 4 cup nutmeats, if possible Dissolve jelly powder in hot water. Add vinegar and 4 teaspoon salt. Chill until slightly thickened. Season celery and apple with \4 teaspoon salt; fold into slightly thickened jelly. Add to dressing peti, well. Turn into wet mold. Chill until firm. Unmold on crisp lettuce. Six to eight servings. Mrs. Carla Church, Winnipeg, Man. POTATO AND EGG SALAD 4 cups cold boiled potatoes, cubed 11 teaspoons salt 1 onion, chopped fine 3 hard cooked eggs, chopped 2 tablespoons chopped parsley 4 teaspoon paprika arr’s Mayonnaise Dressing Mix potatoes, onion, salt and paprika. Marinate in the Salad Dressing. Chill. Just before serving add eggs, parsley and enough Marr’s Salad Dressing to moisten well. MOCK SALMON SALAD 2 cups carrots, coarsley grated or shredded ¥ cup walnuts or pecans, chopped lf teaspoon salt 4 cup stuffed olives, sliced 1 chopped green pepper Few drops onion juice or a small onion chopped fine ¥% cup Marr’s Old Fashion Boiled Salad Dressing Mix all the ingredients thoroughly with Salad Dressing and serve on nests of lettuce.
