Mix ingredients and bake until softly brown in 9x9’’ pan. Cut into squares. PRUNE SPICE CAKE Ingrid Sigurdson ¥Y2 C. butter 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 C. sugar % tsp. cloves 2 eggs ¥2 tsp. salt 1 C. prune pulp Y2 C. sour milk 1% C. cake flour ¥Y2 C. broken wainuts 1% tsp. soda Preheat oven 350°. Cream butter and add the sugar gradually. Beat the eggs in one at a time. Add the cup of prune pulp. Sift before measuring - 11% cups cake flour. Resift with the baking soda. Add cinnamon, cloves and salt, add the sifted ingredients to the butter, mix alternately with the sour milk. Stir in walnuts. Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350° slightly increased heat for 1 hour.
