HINDUS MAY NOT VOTE IN
VANCOUVER
--------------------Victoria, April 18.--(Special.)--Mr. W. J. Bowser in the House this
afternoon gave notice of an amendment to the Vancouver Incorporation Act
by which Hindus will be prevented from voting in municipal elections. This is
necessary, as Mr. Bowser’s general bill denies the franchise to the Hindus only
in the provincial elections.
