o 30 BANANA BREAD $C. margarine 14 c. white sugar 2 eggs +c. sour milk 1 tsp. vanilla l tsp. baking powder 14 tsp. soda 2% c. graham flour or all-purpose 4 bananas, crushed flour $ tsp. salt Cream together margarine and sugar. Add eggs then milk with soda stirred into it and vanilla. Stir salt and baking powder into graham flour blend quickly with creamed mixture. Add mashed bananas (the riper the better). Bake in 2 loaf tins for 1 hour at 4350 or until done. E. Sleath WELSH (CAKES dc. white sugar 3c. butter 2c. flour 2/3 c. currants Il tsp. baking powder 1 egg and approximately % tsp. salt 1 tbsp. milk beaten together Mix dry ingredients and butter to a crumb. Add other ingredients and mix with a fork as for biscuits. (Do not have dough wet.) Roll or pat out to " or 4" thickness. Cook on hot griddle as for pancakes. (Hlectric fry pan gives good results.)
