MUNGO DUNCAN 1 tbsp. butter % tsp. salt 14 cup sugar 1 cup chopped walnuts 2 eggs well beaten 1 cup chopped dates 2, cup flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking powder Cream butter and sugar. Add well beaten eggs. Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt. Then add walnuts, dates, and vanilla. Bake in thin sheet in cake tin, 300 to 325 degrees for 20 or 25 minutes. Ice with white icing, and cut in strips. DREAM CAKE By MRS.
