CONTENTS * APPLE PUDDING 6 large graham crackers 4 apples, sliced thin 4 egg yolks cup Rogers’ Golden : Syrup “A Soak the crackers thoroughly in water. ¥% cup raisins Then squeeze as much of the water 4 egg whites out as possible. Beat the egg yolks and the syrup together lightly. Add the crackers, the thinly sliced apples, raisins, and the stiffly beaten whites. Bake in a well buttered pan until the apples are tender. This will serve eight. NOTE: This is an exceptionally nice te pudding, especially suited for child- ren. DIPLOMATIC BREAD PUDDING 2 cups coarsely grated bread crumbs “4 cup beef suet, finely minced 1 cup currants 1 cup flour 16 teaspoon salt Add the boiling water to the crumbs 1 cup Rogers’ Golden and suet. Add the other ingredients Syrup and the well beaten eggs last. Place 14 teaspoon cinnamon in a pudding bowl, cover, and steam 4 teaspoon nutmeg for 2 hours.
