Bake at SJ Pa Combine and press into bottom of 9 X 350 oven for 15 minutes. 1 - 8 oz. pkg. Philadelphia 1 beaten egg cream cheese i cup lemon juice 3 tbsp. cornstarch 5 tsp. grated lemon Z cup sugar rind Pinch salt 2 cup hot water ky tbsp. butter Warm and cream cheese until smooth. Set aside. Mix cornstarch, sugar, salt in saucepan, add hot water slowly while stirring. Cook over medium heat until thick and clear. Pour about + cup of mixture into beaten egg, stir well, return to pan and cook for 6 minutes. Remove from heat, add lemon juice, rind and butter, stir and leave to cool. Then beat into creamed cheese and spread mixture over graham crust. 1 - 15 oz. can pitted cherries 1 - 3 oz pkg. cherry jelly powder 1 cup cold water Drain cherries, and arrange evenly over cream cheese filling. Heat cherry juice, add jelly powder and stir until dissolved, Add 1 cup cold water and chill until slightly thickened. Pour over cherries and chill for several hours, or overnight. Top with whipped cream if desired. Makes 8 to 10 generous servings.
