CHILI CON CARNE - Dulce Fry Temperature 325° for about I hour 3 tbs salad oil 2’ ormions sliced i. Ib ground beef 1/2 ¢ dry beans or 1 15 oz can tomatoes 1 can kidney beans 1 tbs chili powder (or more)1/2 tsp salt 1 clove garlic 1 ths paprika Cover beans with boiling water, cook two minutes, remove from heat and soak for an hour or so. Bring to boil again and simmer until beans are tender, about 2 to 3 hours, Heat salad oil, add onion and cook until clear. Add ground beef and garlic, cook, stirring, for 5 minutes, Mix- with beans, tomatoes and chili powder. Bake uncovered add- ing liquid if mixture seems too dry. Season with salt and paprika and more chilf powder if needed, Remove garlic be- fore serving. Serves: 6 Serve with brown: rolls and salad.
