This article discusses the legal proceedings for the first test case for the Komagata Maru passengers to be heard in court. It also discusses the length of time an appeal would take if it were carried to the Canadian Supreme Court, and possibly then to England, and whether or not the passengers might be allowed to disembark on bond or into a detention facility to wait for the outcome.
