This article discusses the court case about to precede regarding the first test case for the Komagata Maru passengers. It also discusses the rejected suggestion of M.P. Stevens and immigration official Reid that the passengers of the Komagata Maru be forcibly moved to the C.P.R. steamer Empress of India, due to set sail immediately. Finally the situation of the passengers on board is discussed as the question of water and provisions, and who is responsible to provide them, is raised as they begin to run low. --
