Abstract
Objectives : Prenatal alcohol exposure is associated with increased sleep problems which may aggravate the neurobehavioural problems in children with FASD. Treatment of sleep problems in these children is a challenge, at least partly due to an incomplete understanding of the specific nature of the problems. We have completed a study to develop and evaluate 2 intervention programs (a motor-skill development and a neurofeedback program) for children with FASD. One of the objectives of this study was to assess the nature and occurrence of sleep disturbances in participating children. |
