This editorial discusses the rising Indian Nationalist movement and specifically addresses the end of Lord Minto--s term as viceroy and the appointment of his successor as well as the extension of the Bill for the Prevention of Seditious Meetings, originally passed in 1907. Nichol also praises British imperial rule in India and advocates strong measures in quelling the Nationalist movement.
