Do not side-step the Asiatic issue (transcript)

This article discusses the reaction of the British Imperial government to the decision to exclude the passengers of the Komagata Maru, and therefore all South Asian immigrants, and suggests that steps must be taken for clear-cut laws and agreements to be put in place so as to avoid further protracted conflicts that lead to considerable resentment. It also publishes a denial to the claims that a number of local South Asians were being recruited to return to India in order to lead a rebellion against the British government.
