Abstract/Description

Description / Synopsis

This article discusses the difficulties a group of arrived immigrants are facing due to the legal costs of fighting the validity of the Continuous Journey Regulation. In spite of their victory the legal costs depleted their resources and they are so far unable to find work resulting in dire living conditions for the group as a whole. The article also discusses a few other incidents where South Asian immigrants looking for work or lodgings have been either cheated or gouged by local residents.
