This editorial discusses the voyage of the Komagata Maru and the order-in-council prohibiting any immigration of labourers and artisans. The writer openly discusses the order as contrived to block South Asian immigration and suggests that the British Empire work to divert South Asian immigration to Africa as --more suitable-- a climate and more beneficial to the empire as a whole.
