This article discusses an additional immigration order that prevents Japanese immigrants from landing if they do not possess a passport for Canada issued by the Japanese government. It also discusses Canadian immigration officials working in conjunction with United States immigration officials to ensure than any immigrants who gain entry by claiming to be continuing on to the United States and are subsequently rejected by United States immigration officials at the border are deported.
