To keep Asiatics out of the Dominion (transcript)

This article discusses a proposed amendment to the immigration bill which would legally exclude any --Asiatics-- entering from countries where a treaty or agreement regarding immigration has not been made. It also discusses the conflict between Gurdit Singh and the owners of the steamship and an offer from the South Asian community in Vancouver, represented by Rahim Singh, to pay the remainder owing on the charter and the intentions of the ship--s captain to sail when the terms of the charter expire.
